EuskoTren will offer almost 335 special night services during the Bilbao festivities
06/08/07 - On the other hand, EuskoTran, the Bilbao Tram Service, will run for 22 hours a day during the festivities. The service will run from 07:30 to 05:08 hours between the 18th and the 26th of August and will only be interrupted briefly during the fire-works displays from 22:06 to 22:55 hours.
Between Atxuri and Pío Baroja (where the fair will take place), trams will only run from 09:00 hours to 18:00 hours (on work days) and from 09:30 to 18:00 hours (on feast days). After six in the evening, the company will cancel all services through the fair grounds.
Tram frequencies, in both directions will be as follows: from 07:30 to 09:00 hours, every 15 minutes; from 09:00 to 18:00 hours, every 12 minutes; from 18:00 to 22:10 hours, every 10 minutes; from 23:00 to 02:30 hours, every 10 minutes and from 02:30 to 05:08 hours, every 15 minutes.

EuskoTren, a State Company dependent on the Department of Transport and Public Works of the Basque Government, will offer a total of 787 night trains during the Bilbao festivities that will be held between the 18th and 26th of August.
This wide-ranging offer designed for the EuskoTren Urdaibai, Durangaldea and Txorierri lines is aimed at providing a more comfortable, agile and efficient transport service to help users enjoy the nine days of festivities in the capital city of Biscay.
The features of the night train services will be as follows:
- TXORIERRI (Bilbao – Lezama):
* Old Quarters/Zazpi Kaleak - Lezama: departures every hour.
* Lezama - Old Quarters/Zazpi Kaleak: departures every hour.
- DURANGALDEA (Bilbao – Zaldibar).
* Zaldibar – Bilbao: Afternoon services will be extended on the 18, 23, 24 and 25, running at 30 minute intervals until 23:15 from Durango to Bilbao. On the 26th, the said extended services will not be offered, while on other days the service will run every 30 minutes until 22:44 hours
* Bilbao – Zaldibar: Trains will travel between Bilbao y Amorebieta every 30 minutes on the 18th, 23rd, 24th and 25th. On other days, the service will run every 2 hours. On the 26th, the last service will be at 02:20 hours.
Trains heading for Durango on the 18th, 23rd, 24th and 25th will depart every 30 minutes for the first part of the night and every hour after 23:50 hours, ending their route at Durango. On other days, trains will run every 2 hours, ending their route at Zaldíbar.
On the 26th, the last train will leave Bilbao at 1:50 hours, ending its route at Durango.
- URDAIBAI (Bilbao – Bermeo):
* Bermeo - Bilbao: Trains will run every two hours for most of the night.
* Bilbao - Bermeo: Trains will run every two hours for most of the night.
