EuskoTran will offer special services for Björk´s concert on Friday, 13th of July

12/07/07 - Next Friday, 13th July, EuskoTran will increase the frequency of its Bilbao Tram services to cater for the transport requirements of the public who will be attending the concert offered by the Icelandic singer, Björk, which will be held in the open area opposite the Guggenheim Museum. EuskoTran advises people attending the concert or who plan to visit the Guggenheim Museum that, after 14:00 hours, they should leave the trams at the following stops: Uribitarte or Abandoibarra.

People attending the concert, or those who wish to visit the Guggenheim Museum, are advised that after 14:00 hours, and until the end of the service, it would be preferable to get off their trams at either of the following stations: URIBITARTE or ABANDOIBARRA (it is not advisable to get off at the Guggenheim stop, as a fence will be installed near the Museum which will force passengers to make a long detour to reach the entrance to the Museum, as well as the venue where Björk will be holding her concert).

During the afternoon-evening of 13th July, trams will run with the following frequencies:


• Atxuri – URIBITARTE – Basurto:

1. Until 22:00 hours, every 10 minutes from Atxuri.

2. From 22:00 to 0:15 hours, every 15 minutes from Atxuri.


• Basurto – URBITARTE – Atxuri:

1. Until 22:03 hours, every 10 minutes from Basurto.

2. From 22:03 to 0:03 hours, every 15 minutes from Basurto.

3. Last runs from Basurto at 00:15, 00:25 and 00:35 hours.
