EuskoTren will offer 18 Steam Trains trips during Easter

13/03/08 - The EuskoTren Basque Railway Museum will offer 18 Steam Train trips over the next Easter season. EuskoTren is a pubic company that belongs to the Department of Transport and Public Works of the Basque Government. The said trips will introduce the 2008 Museum Steam Train season.

These trips take place in the Guipuzkoa district of Urola between the EuskoTren Basque Railway Station, located in Azpeitia, and Lasao.

During Easter, Steam Trains will run on the19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of March. Departure times will be:

• Mornings: 12:00 and 13:00 hours.
• Afternoons: 17:00 hours.

Once Easter is over, the 2008 Season Steam Train programme will be as follows:

• From 29 March to 2 November, both inclusive: two trips on Saturdays with departure times as 12:30 and 18:00 hours and another on Sundays and Feast Days at 12:30.

• Special Steam Train Programme: 18th May, the weekend of the 14th and 15th of June, 11th October and 7th December.


BASQUE RAILWAY MUSEUM OPENING HOURS DURING EASTER WILL BE:

On 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of March, the EuskoTren Basque Railway Museum will be open as follows:

• Mornings: from 10:30 to 14:00 hours.
• Afternoons: from 16:00 to 19:30 hours.
